85th (+1) Reunion Celebration

Camp Trinity gate black and whiteThe summer of 2016 we celebrated 85(+1) years of Camp Trinity on the Bar 717 Ranch.

Nearly 200 former campers, counselors, staff and friends of Camp joined us at the ranch to celebrate over Labor Day Weekend.

Over the weekend we shared photos, stories and memories of the past 86 years on the ranch. We enjoyed a delicious ranch BBQ, square danced on the lawn, and sang songs by the campfire. Kent also announced plans to rebuild the old Camp Kitchen! The alumni community is helping to make this project a possibility through generous contributions. Learn more about how you can pitch in for the kitchen.

Grover and Erma Gates Outside the Office 1950'sAlthough the reunion is over, we are continuing our efforts to (re)connect with everyone who has been a camper, a counselor, or a staff member here on the Ranch going all the way back to 1930. If you know someone who might want to be on our mailing list, please refer them to sign up for Campservations. We need your help to reach the Camp Trinity folks who you may be in touch with, but who are not on our mailing list. We have also created an easy form where people can update their contact information: Update Your Contact Info.

Couldn’t make it to the reunion? Check out photos on our Facebook page or pick up a t-shirt in the online Trading Post. You can also enroll for our Alumni Weekend August 25-27, 2017!

To get ready for the reunion, camp alum Tori Nourafchan put together a book of short stories, photographs, poems, drawings and memories of Camp. The resulting book, Recipes for Life is wonderful! Copies will be available soon at the online Trading Post. Read more from Tori on our blog.
