Late summer is when garden production peaks.  This is a great time to be at the Ranch. Squash, potatoes, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers and much more is ready for the picking.  We harvest what is ripe and take it right to the kitchen for the next meal at Family Camp.

There is always work to be done in the gardens; weeding, watering, planting or harvesting. Family Campers are welcome to join in. The gardena are a beautiful place, satisfying in their promise of abundance, full of wonderful smells, and awash in color.  They are a great place to spend time with younger children as they seek and find ripe vegetables as if they were hidden treasure.
