Karen Fryefield

I am currently in my junior year at Smith College in Massachusetts but Iam originally from Eugene, Oregon. This will be my third summer at camp and I am more excited than ever! In my free time I love hiking, singing, and being outside as much as possible. I am also on the springboard diving team at Smith, which occupies most of my time while we are in season. I am currently looking forward to finishing up my classes and getting back to camp for another great summer!

Georgina Simmonds
I am a fourth-year student at UC Berkeley, majoring in Gender & Women's Studies. I just finished up an internship for the Sierra Club as a political organizer, and am looking forward to teaching a student course on women's experience this upcoming fall. I'm an avid traveler, and am excited to spend the month of May working and exploring in London, Scotland & Rome. I am thrilled to be returning to the 717 for yet another summer of friendship, adventure and growth!

I am finishing up my sophomore year at the University of Washington. I am studying Biochemistry and I hope be a physical therapist. I enjoy playing sports and traveling. I just got back from a trip the Grand Canyon with my roommates for spring break. It was an awesome experience. Juniper Rose
I currently attend Chico State University where I am majoring in Journalism with a minor in photography.  I grew-up on a homestead in the mountains near Camp Trinity and love to spend time outdoors swimming, hiking, rafting, gardening, horse-back-riding, snow-boarding, and just about anything. I am from a big family and love spending time with kids and can't wait to be a counselor this summer!

Sergio Acosta Obando

Currently I'm finishing my second year studying International Relations at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia.  I'm from a small city about six hours from Bogota called Armenia; in a region we in Colombia call the 'Coffee Axis'.  I love everything referred to as outdoor activities; however my favorites are hiking, mountain bike and horseback riding.  I can't wait to get to the Ranch for a summer that I would remember my whole life!  Mucho Gusto!!

Mambo (Hello in Swahili)! I can’t wait to return to one of my favorite beautiful places after spending much time in Africa. I am currently volunteering here in Tanzania- teaching community health and farming. I love traveling, playing outdoors, and being surrounded by children. Looking forward to a summer filled with adventure and laughter!

Jake Hanft

I grew up in San Francisco and am currently a senior at UC Davis. My major is International Relations and I have a strong interest in global politics. I spend the first half of my junior year studying abroad in London and the second half of the year living in Washington DC and interning on Capitol Hill. I also enjoy classic literature, modernist art, and pretentious self-descriptions. As a kid, I really liked playing outside, exploring, and finding creative ways to entertain myself. As an adult, well...I still pretty much like all those things. So much for growing older and wiser.

Georgia Collins
I'm nineteen and live in San Francisco. I go to the City College of SF and am finishing up my current classes; Astronomy, Philosophy of Religion, Spanish, and Afro-Haitian Dance. I also work as a nanny for a family with eight year-old twins, and I love spending time with them outside in parks or playgrounds. Though I haven't decided on a major yet, I know it will include working with children, so I'm hoping this summer spent at Camp Trinity will help me narrow it down. My biggest dream as a camper in '02 and '03 was to return as a counselor and to work with the horses, and now my dream is coming true!! Combining my love of people, especially kids, with my favorite animals, and the most beautiful place on Earth, into one super duper job?!? I can't contain my excitement, and I look forward to summer like never before. Cannot wait to see everyone there, its gonna be a blast!!

I love being outdoors and teaching children about animals. Looking forward to another fantastic summer on the ranch. See you there!

Hiking, swimming, and dancing are some of my favorite activities I plan on doing abroad and at the Bar 717 Ranch! This will be my eighth summer at Camp Trinity and my first summer as a counselor. I cannot wait to spend yet another summer at one of the best places on earth! See you all soon

I recently graduated with an English degree from Humboldt State University. I spent this past year getting an apartment and acclimating to a non school oriented lifestyle. It has been great having the extra time to pursue my love of reading. I can barely wait until coming back to Camp Trinity. Lorena Tecuatl Pastrana

Hi! I am 22 years old. I live in San Andres Cholula Puebla, Mexico. I am studying languages because I would like to talk with different people in the world and learn about their culture, country and ways of thinking.   This opportunity to participate as part of the camp is a great and beautiful opportunity to meet people from other countries. These are the kind of experiences that I want to live, I like to meet people and coexist with them, I consider myself to be happy, extroverted and a good person.
